با توجه به نزدیک شدن به زمان دهمین دوره انتخابات ریاست جمهوری ایران، پیگیری و با خبر شدن از اخبار ، حواشی و تحلیل های وبلاگ ها و وبسایت های اینترنتی پیرامون کاندیدای انتخاباتی اهمیت بیشتری پیدا می‌کند. از این رو پرشین بلاگرز تصمیم گرفت تا با ایجاد خبرخوان ویژه انتخابات 88 قدمی در این زمینه بر دارد.
